Mallorca
The Balearic island is very family-friendly, is less than 3 hours away from Germany by plane and awaits you with fantastic beaches and the best climate conditions. There are many great excursion options for you and your children. The Hidropark in Alcúdia is the only water park in the north and promises lots of water fun for the whole family. In the Palma Aquarium in Palma you can discover with your children, in 55 aquariums up to 8000 creatures of different species. In the largest climbing park in Mallorca, the Jungle Parc in Santa Ponca, children from 4 years can let off steam. There is one climbing course for children and two for adults.
Canary Islands
Gran Canaria, Tenerife, - The Canary Islands are considered a top holiday destination with children all year round. Each island offers its very own scenic features. Tenerife, as the largest island, is very diverse, offering fine sandy beaches, great hiking trails in the Anaga Mountains and a wonderful fairytale forest in the north of the island. Gran Canaria also welcomes families. Especially the dunes of Maspalomas and the kilometre-long dream beach behind them are popular with children. You can also go on excursions to Sioux City and feel like you're in the Wild West.
Greece
The gorgeous beaches in Greece are particularly well suited to a family-friendly summer holiday. The popular islands of Kos, Crete, Rhodes or Corfu can be reached in just under a 3 hour flight. Due to the Mediterranean climate, it gets nice and warm here in summer, but not too hot. The island of Kos, for example, offers all kinds of leisure activities for you and your children. A visit to the Aquatica Water Park is a must, as the numerous water slides are fun for the whole family. The Lido Waterpark on Kos also makes children's hearts beat faster.
Bulgaria
Close to Burgas is the 8-kilometre-long Sunny Beach, which is ideal for families. Action Aquapark near Nessebar, is a great water park especially for children. The Sea Garden in Burgas invites you to relaxed, shady walks. The park is located directly on the beach and offers children a great playground with a merry-go-round. You definitely won't get bored in Bulgaria's largest aqua park, Aqua Paradise in Nessebar. With the "Space Jam" you will experience an extreme adrenaline rush on a 90 degree drop. But there are also much less exciting slides that provide a lot of fun.
Turkey
Turkey is one of the most visited destinations for German families. That's why Turkish hotels are also very much geared towards children and teenagers. Beach resorts that are visited by many families from Germany are located on the Turkish Riviera. The hotel staff therefore speak good German, childcare is available in German and also in many other languages, such as English. The 4 and 5 star hotels on the Turkish south coast all have childcare on offer, at least up to the age of 12 or 16. In general, Turkey is a very child-friendly country, this applies not only to hotels and restaurants but also all other facilities.
