I was allowed to test the Flip Max in the wonderland of Kokadi for 2 days on functionality, ergonomics, suitability for everyday use and haptics.

Functionality - how easy is it to put on the carrier?

The carrier is a full-buckle carrier; this means that the carrier is closed by means of buckles.

The Flip is super easy to put on and most importantly, very easy to adjust to the individual wearer. Because the waist belt and the straps - similar to a backpack - only need to be tightened after putting on, the Flip can also be worn by different people.

Because it is so easy to handle, it is also put on very quickly. Which is especially helpful in everyday life.

Furthermore, the stretcher has an adjustable bar. This is very useful and in my eyes also necessary to ensure the correct squat-spread position of the baby. The bar is easily adjustable by means of Velcro and adaptable to the respective baby.

Did the carrier help me in everyday life during the 2 days?

The very clear answer to this is YES!

Cleaning, cooking, washing clothes... All things that occur every day in the household. With baby, however, not always so easy to master.

As my little one always needs a lot of physical contact, it is hardly possible for me to put her in the playpen for a while to do a few things around the house.

A heartbreaking scream is the result in most cases when I try to put her down.

With the carrier, I could now have my mouse with me comfortably and still get all the household things done. This way, everyday life can be combined with a lot of security and closeness.

The carrier has also proved to be a real benefit when going for walks.

Starting with the fact that I no longer have to lug the bulky and heavy pram up the stairs from the cellar. Not only are you spared the hassle of lugging it around - the stretcher is also much quicker. It can be put on in seconds, which has been especially useful over the 2 days when my mouse has been screaming. When I put her in the carrier and walked a few steps up and down the apartment, she calmed down within seconds.

We also love to go for walks in the adjacent forest. Here, however, our stroller comes due to the bumpy ground strongly to its limits. It is also rather uncomfortable for our mouse with the pram in the forest, as the bumpy ground is also passed on to the reclining shell of the pram. With the carrier, however, bumpy forest ground is absolutely no problem. So we did a lot of rounds in the forest with Max at the weekend.

There was also a small excursion to the next bigger town in the last 2 days with the carrier. Here, too, it could only score points in contrast to the stroller. We were able to sit down in a small café without any problems. The stroller would definitely not have fit in this small cafe anymore. With a stroller, we would have been more likely to forgo the visit or have to leave the stroller outside and take the mouse in our arms into the cafe. Which is rather impractical with a 12 week old baby.

The carrier is also very comfortable to wear - the feared back or shoulder pain did not occur.

The carrier makes everyday life much more pleasant and stress-free for me and also for the little one. The Flip makes it possible to cope with everyday life and at the same time give my baby the closeness she needs.

I can't imagine everyday life without the carrier.

Haptic

The sling fabric makes the carrier incredibly cuddly and very soft. The Max in Wonderland sling is made of 60% cotton and 40% bamboo viscose.

The sling keeps the baby very close to mum, but the cuddly sling fabric also gives the baby enough room to keep its back naturally round.

Also, the sling fabric is thick enough to distribute the weight of my little one (she now weighs 6kg) perfectly across the whole carrier- without giving you back or shoulder pain.

Conclusion:

The Flip Max in Wonderland is a great, ergonomic and most importantly beautiful carrier. It makes everyday life so much easier and allows me to be close to my child even in the hustle and bustle of carrying.

The carrying moments calm my mouse immensely and there is nothing better as a mother to be so closely connected to your child.

Carrying is security and love. And thanks to the Kokadi carrier, my child and I can experience this every day :)
